My roots are Irish (so says Ancestry.com DNA!). In celebration of St. Patrick's day, I am sharing my small collection of shamrocks. It started a few years ago. I came across this Frankoma Pottery shamrock. I bought it and started using it on my dresser as a catch all for jewelry, earrings, etc.
I actually have the Frankoma shamrock in a couple of other colors as well, but the green is my favorite, well, because it is green. Note: the "Create" bracelet is from MudLove, a local company that uses a portion of their profits to build wells in Africa. Check them out www.mudlove.com.
Then came another shamrock...
This one catches keys, etc. in the foyer.
These two are on the dresser as well...
This shamrock is actually a paperweight. It lives on my mantel inside this brick mold.
I first wrote this post in 2018. Since then, I have added a few more touches of Ireland.
This little lace doilie.
This metal coin with several symbols of good luck.
A Kelly's beverage bottle.
And a Shillalagh from Ireland.
Maybe having all these shamrocks around is why I am the luckiest girl in the world? Doesn't hurt.
